SEMICON West was successful at “Building a Path Forward” last week in San Francisco! We were so proud to see some of our clients exhibit, attend and speak. We enjoyed getting the chance to interact with clients in person.
This year the conference focused on key themes including artificial intelligence and deep learning in semiconductor manufacturing, government investment in chip manufacturing, heterogeneous integration, sustainability and smart manufacturing. The conference included keynotes and executive panels with leaders from academia, government, and the electronics design and manufacturing ecosystem.
We helped our client Winbond organize their booth and sponsorship. Branding was seen all over the show. Sponsor banners were on display in both halls as well as hand sanitizing stations and charging stations showcasing the Winbond logo. Their booth was situated right by the VR and VIP lounge, showcasing DRAM, Flash memory and security solutions.
Security
Adrian Cosoroaba of Winbond shared the #TrustME W77Q solution at the prestigious Best of West Show Awards. Winbond’s TrustME W77Q is the only NOR flash device with a wide range of security certifications, including SESIP, CC, ISO21434 and ISO26262 Functional Safety. It implements an innovative cryptography stream cipher to protect the data stream on SPI and protect data on the rest of the flash array.
Women in Semiconductors
Laura Matz of Athinia spoke on the “Women in Semiconductors” panel about the importance of creating allyships and making the semiconductor industry an exciting place to work. “Allyship is an active and consistent effort to use your privilege and power to support and advocate for people with press privilege.” (Leanin.org)
Favorite Booths and Displays
Onto Innovation had a unique set up, using a circle to represent a private front desk or news anchor station.
DSV featured translucent lighting, pillars, and a world map to engage attendees.
We were inspired by the energy and innovation demonstrated at Semicon West and look forward to returning next year!
